John led a group who met with Edmonds City Council and County Council
circa 1972-73 to urge council not to fill in the entire marsh. Val spoke with
him and he related how students led the charge to save the marsh. Records are
probably available with the county in Everett. All the above needs to be
researched and validated. Val will be working with students at Edmonds Woodway
and hopes to have one or more students research public records on the history of
